peanut butter barsI love almond and peanut butter so I was excited when I came across Tara Stiles’ recipe for Peanut Butter Bars. They’re gluten free, simple and very tasty. You can use a flavored nut butter if you’d like to add a fun twist to the recipe.

This recipe makes the house smell good and it is quick and easy to make. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Ingredients

2 cups almond or oat flour
2 tablespoon egg substitute
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup peanut butter or almond butter
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup coconut oil

Directions

Mix everything together.
Pour into glass baking dish.
Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
Test with a fork the way you would a cake.
